Welcome to Scalari

We believe that privacy policies should not feel like difficult-to-decipher legal documents. We are committed to transparency, straightforward language, and explanations that anyone can understand.

Scalari is currently in its Validation/MVP phase. This means we are testing our hypotheses, developing the first key features, and building an early community of companies and professionals who want to transform the way they make decisions.

At this stage, it is especially important to understand how you interact with us: what information you share, how you navigate our site, and how useful the platform is to you.

If you have any questions after reading this, please talk to us directly at info@scalari.io.

1. The short version

  • We collect: Your contact info (if you join our waitlist) and basic usage data (how you browse our site).
  • We protect: We do not sell your personal contact information to third parties.
  • Your Rights: You can ask us to delete your personal data at any time.

2. Information we collect

We collect two types of information to help us validate and build our product:

A. Information you give us :

When you interact directly with Scalari, whether by registering on the waiting list or browsing our website, you usually provide us with certain data that we need in order to respond to you, personalize communication, and ensure that the platform is relevant to you and your company. This data includes:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Company name
  • Job title
B. Information we collect automatically:

When you browse our website, certain technical data is collected automatically. This is not to profile individuals, but to ensure the functioning of the site, identify errors, optimize the experience, and understand how users navigate the website. This data includes:

  • IP Address (approximate location)
  • Browser type and version
  • Device type (Mobile or desktop)
  • Pages visited, time spent on the site, and referral sources

3. How we use your data

We use your data strictly for the following purposes:

  1. Validate & build: Understand which features you want so we can build the right product suited to market needs.
  2. Communicate: Send you updates about our launch, newsletters, or respond to your inquiries.
  3. Secure: Monitor for suspicious activity to keep the platform safe and prevent fraud.

4. Sharing your data

We do not sell your personal emails or phone numbers to data brokers. We only share data in these limited scenarios:

  • Service providers: We trust other companies to help us run Scalari (e.g., hosting providers like AWS, email services like Mailchimp, analytics tools like Google Analytics). They are contractually obligated to protect your data and only use it to help us.
  • Legal requirements: If a court or government authority legally forces us to share information, we will comply.
  • Business transfers: If Scalari is acquired or merges with another company, user data may be part of the transferred assets, subject to the promises in this policy.

5. Where your data lives

Scalari operates globally. Your information may be processed on servers located outside of your home country (including in the United States). By using our service, you acknowledge that your data may be transferred to jurisdictions with different privacy laws than your own. We ensure these transfers comply with legal standards (like Standard Contractual Clauses) to keep your data safe.

6. Your rights

Regardless of where you live, we extend these rights to you:

  • Access: Ask us what data we have about you.
  • Correction: Fix any mistakes in your data.
  • Deletion: Ask us to "forget" you and delete your personal info.
  • Opt-out: Unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the link in the footer.

To exercise any of these rights, just email info@scalari.io. We will respond to your request within the timeframes required by applicable laws (usually 30 days).

7. Cookies and tracking

We use cookies (small text files) to recognize you when you return to our site. We use:

  • Essential cookies: Necessary for the site to function.
  • Analytics cookies: To see how many people visit our MVP and how they interact with it.
  • You can control cookies through your browser settings.

8. Changes to this policy

As we move from MVP to a full product, this policy will evolve. We will notify you of significant changes via email or a prominent notice on our site.

Disclaimer: This document is intended to describe our privacy practices clearly and transparently. While we adhere to standard compliance practices, this text does not constitute binding legal advice. If your organization requires specific legal counsel, please consult an attorney.
